Congratulations you are the recipient of the San Diego Chapter of Meeting Professionals International Annual Presenter of the Year Award for 2008/2009. We realize with your busy schedule it was not feasible to accept this award live, but just know we publicly acknowledged you at last nights Annual Awards and Installation Event!
Please be advised that our chapters process for this award selection is done by our Monthly Programs Committee, and that all of our Presenters are considered for this award. I will say you won hands down, and the feed back we received from our attendees were extremely favorable. I would also like to share with you the write up I was given by the committee as to why you were selected, enjoy!
Submission from SDMPI Monthly Programs Committee:
- Corbin Ball was our keynote speaker for our April full day technology conference. He is a well known speaker in our industry and having him on board for this conference automatically took it to a higher level of quality education.
- He spoke on “The Top Technology Trends Transforming the Meetings Industry”, “Web 2.0” and “Technology for the SOHO (small office/home office)”.
- His sessions were information-packed and eye opening. He gave our attendees tools that they could take back and apply at their own office.
- He stressed that virtual will not replace live face-to-face meetings, which was reassuring to hear in this economy!
