I have decided that it is time to retire and close this website on January 31, 2024.  I turn 75 in a couple of months and am planning on travelling, volunteering, auditing classes, exploring new topics and spending more time with friends and family.

I started my speaking, consulting and writing business focusing on event technology one year before Google. Since then, I have had the good fortune to speak before tens of thousands of event professionals in 35 countries.  I have consulted with hundreds of organizations and have written hundreds of articles for dozens of publications. Additionally, I built this site which, for many years, was the largest and most comprehensive event tech site on the web. It has been a very fun ride of which I have enjoyed nearly every minute during this past 27 years.

You will still see me at IMEX America, an occasional MPI meeting and on LinkedIn and Facebook, but a fair amount of my event industry activity will cease. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all my supporters, friends and colleagues in this industry – you are making the world a better place!
